US 'drunk driver' kills three people _ A car travelling at high speed driven by a suspected drink driver has crashed into a crowd of spectators during a university parade in the US state of Oklahoma killing three people and injuring 34 others, police say. A local woman, 25, has been arrested for driving while drunk after her vehicle hit the crowd in Stillwater. Witnesses described dozens of bodies being flung into the air. Police said it was one of the worst accidents they had seen in 30 years. The accident happened as the crowds were watching a homecoming parade - a tradition event welcoming back Oklahoma State University (OSU) alumni. The accident left a trail of devastation The car is reported to have hit a stationary police motorbike - which had no rider at the time - before ploughing into spectators at the homecoming parade. At least eight of the injured are reported to be in a critical condition. Stillwater Mayor Gina Noble said that the incident had left people in the town heartbroken, while OSU President Burns Hargis said that what was supposed to be "a wholesome, happy event" had been besmirched by "a terrible tragedy".
