In what many residents here referred to as an historic speech and public statement from the CCM high-ranking leader, Mr Kinana also announced other major changes on how to hold the government and CCM MPs accountable.
“I’m going to hold a meeting with CCM MPs as soon as they are elected to the House and will strategize the way forward, particularly on amending or repelling all bad laws that people are complaining about,” he told thousands of people at Furahisha grounds in Mwanza region on Sunday evening.

Mr Kinana was sharing his feedback on the countrywide tour he made for the last 27 months where he said people heard complaints on the performance of the government in many areas.
The CCM SG was irked by the current practices where all government officers regards themselves as superior, adding that superiority complex must now come to an end as they will be tasked to deliver.
Mr Kinana thanked all who supported him during the long tour and commended in a special way members of the media, local government authorities and the party officers.
He commended President Jakaya Kikwete for remaining supportive whenever he phoned him over the grievance of the people towards the government performance.
Mentioning few examples, among many in the list, Mr Kinana said the Head of State immediately okayed for the Nyarugusu mining site in Geita District to be allocated to small scale miners as investors failed to develop it as agreed.
Another was on the review of the coffee price which was an issue in the Lake Zone as well as removal of cumbersome procedures in reducing costs of doing business particularly among petty traders and entrepreneurs.
“All pledges made by President Kikwete during the elections campaigns in 2010 are going on smoothly and will be completed as promised and the party will make sure they are all on right track,” he promised.
